During this course I have been exposed to various theories of urban design and different approaches towards it along with its relationship with other related disciplines like conservation, planning, housing, legislation, economics, real estate, anthropology, sociology, environment and ecology.
I have been exposed to different methodologies for design as well as various studies that need to be carried out before any kind of urban design proposal. This also included various tools and techniques those are used by urban designers in both green field and brown field projects of various scales; like preparing master/structure plan, designing of space & building typologies, formulation of design guidelines and development strategies, etc.

Interactive City – Creating Conducive Environment for Informal Social Interaction.

Study of Interface between Lutyen’s Delhi (Garden City) and Lodhi garden area (Post- independence Delhi) and giving Urban Design proposal for the same.

Study of new town of Rajarhat, Kolkatta and providing Urban Design proposal for the CBD area of new town.
